About A J

I am a very patient instructor. I remember when I started playing golf over 30 years ago. No one was there to tell me what to do. I thought I would eventually get the hang of it. But I didn't until I took some instruction. I firmly believe that once you learn the basics, the sky is the limit!!

I love working with couples. Although I also work with indivdiduals. The best joy I get is knowing that I helped someone. Most beginners are able to take 18-36 strokes off their game after having sessions with me. I give God all the glory to be able to do something that I enjoy.

I started just helping friends and our youth.  Someone told me that I was  a good instructor and that I should charge.  So here I am.  I run  a nonprofit in the daytime, which gives me flexibility.  COVID-19 hit our business, so I am in need of additional income.

I'm 55 years old with over 25 years of experience

Individual - Groups of four.  The first meeting is 30 minutes of overview and expectations with putting instruction and drills.

Mostly beginners.  I love to see people develop into golfers.

Make sure the instructor is patient and loves the game.  You can teach what you don't have for yourself.  You have to desire and enjoy playing golf.

I have  a new girlfriend and we recently went out to play 9 holes of golf.  She said, "before we go out again, you have to teach me".  We went home and I practice some drills with her in the house and saw immediate improvement.  She was verrrrrry excited!!!1

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Make sure they are experts in the area of instruction that you are in need.  I am an expert for beginners.  But I would not try to instruct someone who wants to shoot  a 72.
