About Julie
I am a 4th year Nutrition and Dietetics major at Acadia university, with a second major in psychology. French is my first language which is really beneficial in teaching the language from a daily use perspective. I have grown up in a family of teachers which has taught me so many necessary communication and education skills. I am a very outgoing and bubbly person and I do not believe tutoring sessions should ever have to feel stressful or intimidating to students, I am always here to help.

I create personalized learning plans for each students with a focus on time management and problem solving skills. I have a lot of experience working with students who have learning disabilities and have seen a lot of success in increasing their self confidence and subsequently their grades in the process. I am open to both online and in person tutoring depending on preference and distance. My rate is based on my many years of experience as a tutor as well as my experience working as a teaching assistant at the undergraduate level.
