About Erika
English has always been my favorite subject. Whether that may be the same for you or not, I am here to help either make it manageable or that much more enjoyable. From homework assignments to editing essays to completeing outlines for short storries, I am here to help.
In the past I have taken AP English, Creative Writing, American and World Literature, have recieved awards for my work in English classes and was even Editor in Chief of my school's yearbook.
Although I have not tutored in the past, at least not the way you may view it, I have helped numerous peers as well as my two siblings thorughout their English careers. I was the kid the teacher sent students to if they had questions on how to write a hook or understanding the content.
I will helping you understand assignments and answer any questions you may have. I will help you look over outlines and rough drafts and prepare you for questions you can ask teachers. I will help you edit and revise papers without taking away your words. My biggest pet peeve was when teachers and friends would edit my papers but try to change the whole essay because they did not like my writing syle or examples. Rather than change your opinions and errase the hard work you have put in, I will help make your writing stronger and coherent.
