About Alexis
My name is Alexis Young and I am a Junior at Sacramento State University. I am looking forward to helping kids with their schooling, especially during this harder times with online learning. I am fun, hardworking, and will do everything I can to help your student with school. I have online courses for school this semester as well, but I will help whenever I can outside of them.
I have done babysitting and tutoring others back in high school, so I have experience with it as well as working with kids. I also participated in Sea Scouts outside of school for several years, which helped me with teamwork and leadership skills, which I can apply to tutoring to ensure I can work as a team with your student to help the progress and grow in school.

I like to get to know the student a bit, figure out how they learn things best, learn their interests in case they could be used to help teach them a difficult topic. Then I figure out what areas they struggle in in the topic and tackle one thing at a time.
I have only worked with fellow students in High School for tutoring before, and only worked with kids in babysitting. But I am excited to be able to tutor younger kids and help this grow in learning.
