About Desiree
A graduate from Brigham Young University with a bachelor's degree in English and a postgraduate from National University with a Master of Education with an emphasis in Social Emotional Learning, I am a sought-after teacher because of my ability to connect with each student and to make difficult concepts easier to understand. As a former program coordinator and current teacher at an alternative education program serving students ranging from TK to 12th grades, I have experience working with children/teens with learning differences and also those who are more advanced in their learning. My teaching style caters to the needs of the whole child rather than just a part.
