About Edith
I have a a tremendous passion for teaching, seeing my students succeed, gaining self esteem, and achieving not only their goals, but being inspired to proceed further. I have been tutoring and teaching since I was a teenager. I have taught in New York where I grew up and continue to teach and tutor in Los Angeles and more currently in Santa Clarita. I have a Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology and a Bachelor's Degree in Mass Communications and Speech. My specialty is advanced English which includes vocabulary, grammar, reading, and writing. I also specialize in ESL where I have taught native Korean, Spanish, and Persian adult students.
Helping people succeed, enjoy the learning process, and feeling confident and proud of their accomplishments.

Perfect! Great tutor. Been working with two of my elementary school kids for almost a year now. Kids progressed a lot and most importantly they are looking forward for their tutor sessions with Mrs. Edwards and very excited when she comes. Mrs. Edwards comes well prepared for the class, brings education materials and always on time.
