About Shanay
I provide promt and courteous service. I take pride in giving supplemental and applicable feedback to students.
I enjoy helping others improve areas of difficulty reach their full potential.
I have tutored students for 5 years. I always seemed to do well in English when I was in High School and college. I never received any grade lower than an B+. I have experiencce essay writing and various styles.
I also assist students with sentence structure, spelling, grammar, etc for those that need more hel;p with the technical part of writing.

My typical process initially is to get an assessment of where the student is in their subjec matter or what particular concenpt they are learning at the moment if they are having trouble understanding.
I then map out a plan of approach to implement with the student in hopes of an effective outcome.
I primarily have worked with students of elementary and middle school age. However, I have also worked with High School students for English as well
I would advise to students who are seeking help from a tutor is to make sure you feel they are a good fit for them. Not just from an academic standpoint, but rapport, a chemistry between your personality and the tutors for a more effective lesson/sessions.
I would also advise students to be as open as you can with your tutor as to what your specific needs are in order for the tutor to provide the best service as possible for you
