About Silverio
My name is Silverio Chan. I have 25 years experience as a full time teacher at the Los Angeles Unified School District. I teach elementary level students all academic subjects. I also have extensive training in ESL and I use it to help English Language Learners, both children and adults. I value my students' background and culture as I try to individualize instruction for each of my customers in order to meet their needs. I try to make learning fun and relevant with practical hands-on methods.
I enjoy teaching because it makes me happy to see my students succeed.
