READING - FAVORITE

In total, I taught reading to grades 3-12 in public and private school for over 13 years in 6 states,.including reduction in subvocalization, increased reading speed, word identification, Dolch words, vocabulary, study skills, test taking, skimming and scanning of reading selections and phonics (which helps to sound out words on one's own).

My experience includes six years of teaching Remedial Reading in grades 3,4,9,10 11, and 12 to those with little to no ability.

*My price per sessions and estimated number of sessions will depend on inal's needs, willingness to work and budget. My fees will be fair.

*I consider myself an expert teacher especially reading IF student follows my instructions.

I believe I would enjoy enjoiy English-speaking adults.

My preference is no students under 10. They are too literal for me tor us to be effecftive.

Procedure:

After meeting with person, we will be able to develop an action plan.

The first meeting will probably include a simple Reading Level test to determine where we need to start because I do not want any student to feel overwhelmed or uncomfortable if level egins too high.

Wherever the level is fine with me.

i will inquire on educational history, eye exams, possile learning disaility and cioping skills employed.

I prefer working online or in a private area at one of the two Mandeville (or Baton Rouge in the next 2 yeasrs) libraries which offer private areas and computer access to both of us.
