About Niurka
As a bilingual college student, as time passes, I have come to the realization that the ability to speak more than one language is a huge advantage that can open up many job opportunities. Unfortunately, as children, that comes with some disadvantages that can sometimes make it a little more challenging for us to perform well. I found passion within tutoring when a friend of mine had asked me to tutor her 2nd grader because she was having issues with pronunciation and spelling. My goal has always been to build confidence within the student so they can perform well in every aspect of their life. As stated previously, I am a college student at the Ohio State Univeristy majoring in Radiologic Sciences. I have just recently completed an associate degree in arts and sciences where I focused primarily in psychology, early childhood education, and child development. While I did that, I also enrolled in a CPR and First Aid course and was certified May 2020. I do look forward to making a change whether it is big or small, which is why I have decided to use my life experiences and lessons to pour into others.
