About Amber
I love being able to help students with things they struggle with, everyone struggles with something and I'm here to help with what I can.
I'm a college student, I'm almost done with my first year of Bryant & Stratton. I'm studying human and social services and plan to use my degree to help even more children and adults.
I just really started last year when my little siblings started doing school at home because of the pandemic.
I don't have any education or training in helping others study.
I have some little siblings that I help from time to time each week, but other than that nothing.

The first step of how I would start a tutoring session would be to assess the assignment(s) the student is needing help with. After assessing the assignment(s), I like to get the student's input about what they think they need to do so I can see if they are on the right track. The steps following all depend on how the student takes in the information.
I don't like to overwhelm anyone; if the student needs a break, they get a break.
I have helped my siblings:
One is in third grade, another is in 5th grade.
I have also helped some of my fellow college classmates.
