About Beth
I teach fine art in the classical old masters techniques.
I also offer portfolio building and also offer an art apprenticeship program for high schoolers.
We are partnered with a Macon gallery to host a annual student work show which gives students a chance to learn how to prepare, price and market their work for selling.
I enjoy watching my little artists bloom. I love to see them learn and advance. Seeing their individual styles emerge is very fulfilling. My goal is not only to teach the fundamentals of art but to cultivate friendships and to mentor my younger students. These relationships last well beyond the art lessons and are one of the greatest perks of my job.
Attended FBI Academy in Lively Fl, to be a composite artist, spent 3 years at the Marion County Sherrif's office as a composite artist, and I have been teaching art for 8 years now. I have been working in the creative field for 40 years.

When I first start with a student, I guage how advanced they are and from that point, tailor my approach to fit their level of advancement. I teach students the fundamental principles of art and how to apply them in their work. This tailored approach assures that my students get the most out of their lessons and helps them quickly build their skill level and develop their unique, individualized style.
I work with students from age 8 and up of all ability levels.
Look for someone that is going to teach you how to draw first and foremost. This is fundamental and everything else comes after.
