About Jonathan
We are passionate about providing simple and clear instructions and we understand that dance is supposed to be a fun time with your partner and/or friends.
My brother was going through a divorce and was trying everything he could to get out and find a companion. One of those things was ballroom dancing, but he would not go alone. Our mother offered to pay for the classes if I went to support. My brother did not enjoy the classes very much but for me it was the beginning of a whole new chapter in my life.
Each of our staff members have different dance backgrounds. Some have a ballet/tap/jazz background, some just strictly a ballroom background.
We hold certifications and awards in multiple styles of dance!

About the lesson

First we find out what your purpose for dancing is (dancing with your wife socially, an up-coming wedding, or competitive dancing, etc).
Then we will design a plan to get you where you want to be as efficently as possible.
We have a very diverse age group. Throughout the years myself and the staff here at R&J have worked with dancers as young as 9 years old and just a month ago one of my first students ever turned 100 years of age!!! It is never too late to learn to dance!
And in the training/education portion you can see the accomplishments of some of these students. Many of our students held world and national titles. We are very proud of them!
If you are able to, tryout multiple instructors until you find the right match! And dont wait to start dancing!!!
Stan Miller performs at Gervasi's Still House usually twice a month. We love to go and dance to his live music!

Details
We have group classes available each month, the price varies between $35-$80. We have private lessons available from $30 to $120 dollars, the cost is based off of the experience and training of the instructor.
