About Chef farmer Ian
An edible gardening service unlike any other in South Florida as we do more than just help you grow vegetables we teach you how to grow, cook, and eat your own food, saving you hundreds of dollars each season while bringing to your family the healthiest and most nitritious foods you can.
The work is rewarding as it allows me the opportunity to combine my passion for growing and cooking food with teaching as not many can wear as many hats as The Gourmet Gardener wears. We are in over 150 Broward county schools and the smile on childrens faces when they swee a tomato on the vine or a carrot wedge its way out from the soil is priceless...
As the GM of Whole Foods New York I developed cooking classes for Natural foods and it was a sucess so continued the journey.

In working with a New school (student) we offer a "Free" consultation to better understand the needs of the teachers (student) and the adnministration, this includes planning and budgeting, parameters for contractual work to be performed and setting up dates and times for performance.

Chanukkah event for 50 kids and family at a Nature Center in Broward where we took the farm to the chanukkah table with zuchinni and sweet potato latkas, fresh apple sauce, and local sour cream.

We hired chef Ian to help teach us some new dishes for our yacht/ catering business in The US Virgin Isles. His attention to detail and outline for service made it easy for us to adapt his dishes for our unique business and kitchen space on the boat- Everyone loves the dishes we know create thanks to him!
We have had Chef Ian come to our house about 3 x now and each time his food was not only delicious he took his time explaining to my kids and working with them to give them the confidence they need in the kitchen, my little guy Max now wants to be a chef!
Chef Ian was very patient with me as I had hired him to teach me some dishes that I could make for my friends and family-As a restaurant owner its difficult to just ask an employee with help so I reached out to Ian and he was awesome-
Farmer Ian helped us start our own Backyard garden. He explained all the different types of gardens and which would be best for us, we have been loving our Hydro-towers and the recipes he helps us with.
