About Noah
I'm passionate about teaching, especially anything related to computer science. I have a knack for clarifying difficult concepts and have a broad experience to help anyone (yes anyone) understand.
I studied 4 years at the University of San Diego to get my Bachelor's in Computer Science. Since graduating in 2017 I have been employed at two companies as a software engineer. I code at my job and for fun.
While in school I tutored both Math and Computer Science for any students that needed additional help.
I have always loved teaching and loved helped fellow classmates and peers understand difficult subjects they don't understand. I have a knack for teaching in a very step by step manner.
Throughout my undergrad I worked as a tutor for the math and computer science departments helping out students at all levels. I tutored at the local high school in STEM subjects during the first two years out of college.

Typically the first meeting with a new student is spent finding out what he/she understands and doesn't understand, and a general roadmap with goals. Meeting schedules and other logistic questions are conversed here as well so that I am on the same page as the student.
From there we go head first into each lesson. I always keep open ears and am very attentive to any and all questions. I teach by example and am willing to explain topics from many different angles until the student fully understands the subject.
High school through college.
Look for a teacher who explains subjects in a very step by step manner. Look for someone you easily understand, and you feel understands you. Nothing is more confusing than a teacher you don't understand.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Students should consider what their goals are. Whether that's just getting through a project, or understanding a difficult subject.
