About Stefan
I grew up in Taiwan and came to U.S. after graduated from high school. I spent 6 years working at a tech company in China and also worked as an interpreter for Microsoft Executives.

1. Ask students or parents about their specific goals (conversational, writing, reading, etc.) of learning Chinese.

I have worked with students from age 8 - 22.
What makes a tutor good is how he/she is able to create an environment to student to want to learn, so have a 20 minute casual conversation with the person before commiting to the teacher.

Stefan is patient and creative when it comes to teaching Chinese. My kids love him so much, that they have their Chinese lessons marked on their calendar with rainbow and glitter, as if it were a birthday party. Thank you, Stefan.
He is passionate about teaching and always patient with repeated questions. He sometimes throws in a pop quiz and will carefully review the questions that I got wrong with me, just to make sure I understand it before moving to the next chapter.
