About Alvaro
I was approached by my Chemistry college professor to become a tutor at my university after I did extremely well in his class.
I tutored college students in Chemistry for 2 1/2 years back while I was getting my Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineerinng. Nowadays I try to put it to use while I substitute for Frenship Independent School District.

First I would get to know the student and their aptitude for the material to gauge how I would conduct the teaching. I would also see what the best teaching method would be given that people learn differently. I would work with the student slowly but surely at the beginning to make sure we get the initial grasp of the lessons and once more trust and understanding is built, be more of a guide to the answer.
I've worked with college and high school students in Chemistry, but I've worked with all types of students in terms of teaching in general.
