About Alexis
PhD candidate in materials chemistry. Experienced tutor and teacher's assistant in organic, thermodynamics, environmental and general chemistry.
I greatly enjoy creating new and interesting way for students to learn new material. Previously, I believed chemistry was a topic I was incapable of learning, however after the help of tutors, the realization that the material is interesting and not too difficult to learn. I want to help other students realize chemistry isnt too difficult for them to learn and enjoy!

Typically, I will have students send me their most recent exam, and their current class work. Based on thier exam, we will work together to pinpoint the area the student needs the most improvement (either a specific topic, concept, or skill). I will then help them to create a study plan for them to do on their own and with me during our sessions.
