About Tavares
Tavares, Owner of Strong Mind Strong Will Fitness, has spent the last 6 years getting certifications through nationally accredited organizations, learning principles that sets him apart from other trainers across the globe. I am a trusted fitness professional, who gained my love of fitness through basketball over a 20 year period, playing at a high level throughout my elementary years through college.
While training clients, he emphasizes that becoming better at any skill is more about refining your habits and approach to the task at hand than it is about just practicing without an understanding and clear set goal to achieve. I know the proper fundamentals, progressions/regressions of difficulty in drills, precise attention to detail, coupled w/ the knowledge of exercises that hep contribute to being an overall basketball player.
Certfications: ACE Certified Personal Trainer, CoachUp Certified Basketball Coach, Functional Movement System Level 1, TRX Certified.
