About Jim
I am a NAUI Scuba Instructor with the designation of Course Director Trainer. This means I can train Course Directors, that can train Instructor Trainers that can train Instructors to teach people to dive. I have helped write industry standards, and have been a contributor to 4 core course textbooks, and 11 specialty textbooks.
As a CPR/First Aid Instructor, I am a DAN Examiner. Examiners can train Instructor Trainers, Instructors and of course Providers. Courses offered include CPR, First Aid, Neurological Assessment, Emergency Oxygen, First Aid for Hazardous Marine Life Injuries.
I have a degree in Marine Science which lends itself nicely to increased knowledge and experienct to pass onto my scuba students.
I am also a 14 year veteran of the National Ski Patrol and have extensive first-hand experience with First Aid and CPR.
