About Carley
I am currently in my fourth year of university level education pursuing a Master's degree and teaching credentials. I have tutoring many students in the past when I was in high school. I first started tutoring when I was in middle school and was helping a young boy in his reading and social studies classes. I completely fell in love with the ability to help someone go through such a monumental part of their educational journey. I am also the type of person that loves school and loves learning so tutoring is like a job that doesn't really feel like a job to me. One of my four Associates degrees that I have so far is in English Literature so English is definitely one of my specialties.

I grew up being too scared to ask questions in school and at home and I have always wanted to make students feel comfortable and able to ask anything that they are uncertain about. I am super patient and understand that there are different and unique learning styles. I think it is necessary that a student know his/her learning style in order to develop study and memory retention techniques. With that being said, I learn how each student responds to material in order to ensure that they are actually learning and retaining the information given to them.
I am also currently a student pursuing a masters degree with4 current Associates degrees in many areas, so learning is very fresh in my brain so I know how tough school can be and how important it is for kids to learn how to learn at young ages.
