Moin! That’s how we say 'hello' in my hometown Hamburg. My name is Kim, and I’m 31 years old. I actually work in IT, but my love for travel led me to teach the German language.
In my courses, you’ll learn in a practical and interactive way. I bring several years of experience in tutoring and language teaching.

My focus is on individualized support, clear structure, and practical learning content. It’s especially important to me that each lesson is tailored to the learner’s personal needs and goals - whether for school, work, or preparation for language exams.
I use a mix of communicative and grammar-based methods. Additionally, I incorporate authentic materials such as texts, listening exercises, role-plays, or everyday conversations to bring the language to life in context. To tailor the lesson content perfectly to you, I use AI-based software.
Thanks to my many years of experience, I’ve developed a strong sense for common learning barriers and enjoy helping students overcome them step by step - with patience, a clear focus, and motivation.
I can still remember my ineffective language lessons at school all too well. Plagued by the fear of making mistakes, I never really dared to actively participate.
As an online teacher, I want to offer you a learning environment where you feel comfortable and are willing to make mistakes - that's part of the process!
