About Andrew
I am a freshman Mechanical Engineering major at Caltech. I have been tutoring math, science, and SAT prep since my freshman year of high school and I love helping students improve their understanding of these topics!

I started teaching my freshman year of high school because my older sister's friends needed math and SAT help. I was on an accelerated math track and had taken the SAT three times by my sophomore year, so I had seen my fair share of practice and real problems and had developed methods I could share with them. Through high school, I mostly tutored in these topics through personal connections.
Beyond my past tutoring experience, I have worked both as a counselor for a summer art camp and as a lifeguard at a neighborhood pool. Both jobs prepared me for communicating with students and kids of all ages, and I have applied those skills in past tutoring jobs.
