About Dee
I am currently accepting both, traditional and non-traditional students that need help with their financial and managerial accounting courses. I tutor a diverse array of students to master their online and in-person accounting assignments and projects at reputable and online universities.
I received my Bachelor's and Master's in Accounting. Prior to entering the workforce, I passed all 4 CPA exams within 6 months of the first sitting. Subsequently, I gained my expertise in audit; supporting financial statement audits for financial institution clients. Additionally, I joined a publicly-traded financial services corporation to conduct operational, financial and regulatory internal audits for their domestic and foreign operations. I am currently an inactive CPA in the state of California and pursuing reciprocity for my licenses in the state of Texas.
As a result of my professional and academic background, I am well versed in quantitative subjects. I have come to conclude that the benefits of an academic education are fruitless unless that knowledge can be conveyed in a considerate manner to foster effective learning. Without the ability to relate, education cannot successfully be provided or retained. I enjoy utilizing my soft skills to expand someone's breadth of knowledge in a manner that they can relate to.
I am a CPA with my Bachelor's and Master's in Accounting as well as professional experience with a public accounting firm in Audit and Tax and with a publicly traded financial services company.

I work with traditional, untraditional and online students. Please keep in mind that I refuse to do a student's homework. I will challenge students to really understand the concepts, regardless of whether they appreciate it at the time or not. At the same time, I observe the student's approach to studying and accomodate their learning style to better prepare them for the course assignments and exams.
Every student is different and has a different learning process. I would find a tutor that knows how to teach you effectively.
