Experienced 1:1 (private lessons/1 individual at a time) EFL (English as a Foreign Language) TEACHER (30+ yrs), CELTA qualified (English native speaker)

I had the pleasure of taking private lessons with him as part of a Business English course at EF in Cambridge, and I was extremely pleased with the experience. He explained things clearly and made every lesson enjoyable and engaging. After just one week, I left having learnt so much and feeling much more confident in my English. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking to improve their English.

Paul helped our son prepare for entry into a British boarding school. As a non-native English speaker, this was an important step, and Paul was a great support throughout.

He has a good ability to engage teenagers and built a nice rapport with our son fairly quickly. He explained things clearly and patiently, and his motivation came through in every session. Our son started school feeling much more confident in his English, which helped him settle in well.

I worked with Paul from 2012 to 2019 in monthly English coaching sessions focused on improving my general and business English skills. He also supported me in preparing presentations for Nordic business meetings, always bringing clarity and confidence to the process.Paul is flexible, easy to work with and highly professional — qualities that made it possible to develop my language skills alongside a demanding work schedule. I can warmly recommend him to anyone looking to strengthen their English for business use.

I have excellent memories of Paul as a teacher, whom I met in Cambridge. He adapted perfectly to my personality and expectations. We had a very pleasant rapport. I highly recommend him.

Paul is truly the best tutor I’ve ever had. As a tutor, he is deeply sincere and competent, which makes sessions calm and allows me to express my opinions without fear. His teaching skills and expertise, accumulated over several decades, will be invaluable for learning English. Every session is meaningful, and I learn a lot from Paul—not only English but also about life. I guarantee that your English will definitely improve with Paul.

I strongly recommend Paul as an English teacher. His expertise in teaching English is impressive and he has worked for prestigious English schools. Furthermore, he helped me to feel much more confident. Paul is patient, kind and he is a respectful teacher who can help you to improve your English quickly at any level. Many thanks Paul for your help!

Paul is an amazing and patient English teacher! The explanations are always crystal clear, and he always use targeted examples to help me overcome my specific weaknesses. Having a teacher like Paul with supportive attitude makes a huge difference!

I had the pleasure of working with Paul as my English teacher during my time in International Buying at ALDI SÜD, and he is without doubt one of the best English teachers I have ever worked with.
What sets Paul apart is his consistently practical approach. He does not teach language in the abstract but always embeds it in real situations that genuinely come up in professional life. That is exactly what made his lessons so valuable to me.
I would especially like to highlight his strong understanding of business. Paul speaks the language of business and knows what matters in international negotiations, meetings, and day to day exchanges with business partners. This sense of the commercial side helped me enormously in my profession and moved me forward in a very tangible way.
I can recommend Paul without reservation, both for anyone looking to improve their English in a professional context and for anyone seeking a competent and dedicated teacher.
