About Vicky
Hello! I'm relatively new to Brisbane and have moved up here to pursue my PhD in Biomaterials at QUT. Prior to this, I was a maths tutor at Christ's College, New Zealand and a teaching assistant in the UK. I have privately tutored students, maths and chemistry, whilst undertaking my degree in Materials Science at Oxford. When I'm not studying I really enjoy getting out of town for some trail running. :)

I'm all about fun. Pencil and paper doesn't work for everyone, so I make it my challenge to find a way which engages my students and helps them to really explore the subject. No question is a silly question. Questions are key to unlocking understanding, and I aim to provide a comfortable and relaxed learning environment which encourages question asking and curiosity.

Perfect! We are very pleased to find Vicky to help out with math for my Year 7 daughter Maya and Year 9 son Max. They both commented that they enjoy lessons with Vicky very much and get a lot out of it. Vicky has a wonderful enthusiastic approach, which makes difficult concepts easier to grasp.
