About Catherine

I started my career as an apprentice with no experience, and I remember how intimidating it felt to ask for help. That experience shaped the way I work today. Over the years, I’ve become someone who genuinely enjoys mentoring and creating a safe, supportive space for people who are just starting out. Helping new developers grow their confidence and skills is something I’m passionate about, and it’s the main reason I choose to tutor. I want to make the path into software development easier, clearer, and much less overwhelming for the next generation of devs.

About the lesson

I’m a C# .NET developer with 10 years of experience, and I’ve spent the last few years mentoring junior developers who were completely new to coding. I know how overwhelming it can feel starting out, so my approach is relaxed, supportive, and focused on helping you learn at your own pace.

I explain things clearly, use real examples, and break tricky concepts down into simple steps. Whether you’re just starting with C#, building a project, preparing for a job, or wanting a bit more confidence in your coding, I’m here to guide you.
