About Vanishree
About Me I’m a dedicated and passionate educator with over 10 years of tutoring experience and a Postgraduate Diploma in Teaching from Australia. I currently teach Math and Science up to Year 10 and English up to Year 6 in a government school. My goal is to help students not only improve their grades but also develop genuine confidence and enjoyment in learning. I believe that with the right guidance, every student can succeed. I create a positive, supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, exploring ideas, and challenging themselves. My teaching approach combines patience, structure, and real-world relevance, helping students understand why concepts matter, not just how to solve them. I’m committed to seeing each student reach their full potential and develop lifelong learning skills.

My Approach to Tutoring
I adapt my lessons to each student’s learning style, focusing on understanding rather than memorisation. I use clear explanations, examples, and guided practice to help students build confidence and mastery. Lessons are interactive, with regular feedback and real-world applications to keep learning engaging.
Lesson Structure
A typical lesson runs for 60 minutes, which includes:
A brief review of previous concepts
Introduction of a new topic with clear objectives
Guided practice and examples
Independent practice with support
Quick recap and feedback at the end
Longer sessions (up to 90 minutes) are available for exam preparation or topic revision.
Qualifications and Experience
I hold a Postgraduate Diploma in Teaching from Australia and currently work as a Maths and Science teacher in a government school. I have over 10 years of tutoring experience, teaching Maths and Science up to Year 10 and English up to Year 6. My extensive classroom and one-on-one experience have given me a deep understanding of the Victorian Curriculum and the common challenges students face in these subjects.
