About Aarav
Hi, I'm Aarav! I'm a Year 13 student studying Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Physics and Economics, with A* predicted grades in Mathematics, Further Mathematics and Physics.
I achieved a Grade 9 in GCSE Mathematics and have been awarded two Gold Awards in the UKMT Intermediate Maths Challenge, as well as a Silver Award in the UKMT Senior Maths Challenge.
Alongside my studies, I have over a year of experience working as a Classroom Assistant at Kumon, where I support students of different ages and abilities in Mathematics. This has helped me develop the skills to explain challenging concepts clearly, adapt to different learning styles and build students' confidence.
My lessons are tailored to each student's needs, whether they need help with homework, exam preparation or strengthening key topics. My aim is not only to improve grades but also to help students develop a genuine understanding of mathematics and enjoy the subject.
I look forward to helping students from Year 5 to Year 12 achieve their goals and reach their full potential.

My lessons are tailored to each student's ability and learning style, whether they are building confidence, preparing for exams or aiming for the highest grades. I focus on developing a deep understanding of mathematics by explaining concepts clearly and breaking complex problems into simple, logical steps.
Rather than relying on memorisation, I help students understand why methods work, allowing them to tackle unfamiliar questions with confidence. Lessons include worked examples, exam-style practice and regular opportunities for students to ask questions and develop their problem-solving skills.
Lessons are typically 55 minutes long, and I teach students from Year 5 through to Year 12.
