About Saif
Hi, I'm a Chemical Engineering student at Imperial College London with a strong passion for helping students develop their confidence and achieve their academic goals.
I have always enjoyed understanding how and why things work, particularly in Maths and the Sciences, and I want to share that enthusiasm with my students. Over the past 3+ years of tutoring with Heego Education, as well as through private tutoring, I have had the opportunity to support students of different ages and abilities, helping them overcome challenges and make real progress.
I believe that every student can improve with the right support, and my aim is to make lessons engaging, supportive, and tailored to each individual's needs. Whether a student is looking to build confidence, improve their grades, prepare for exams, or aim for the highest marks, I enjoy helping them reach their potential.
Having recently gone through the process of achieving top A-level grades and applying to competitive universities myself, I understand the challenges students face and can provide both academic support and guidance on effective study techniques and exam preparation.

Qualifications & Experience:
I am currently studying Chemical Engineering at Imperial College London and achieved A*A*A at A-level in Maths, Chemistry, and Physics. I have over 3 years of tutoring experience with Heego Education as well as experience providing private one-to-one tutoring both online and in person. I have taught students of a wide range of abilities and am DBS certified.
My Approach to Tutoring:
My approach is centred around building a strong understanding of the subject rather than simply memorising methods. I focus on identifying gaps in a student's knowledge, explaining concepts clearly, and then applying them through guided practice and exam-style questions. I adapt my teaching style to each student's individual needs, whether they need help catching up, want to improve their grades, or are aiming for top marks.
My lessons typically involve reviewing previous topics, introducing new concepts, working through examples together, and giving students opportunities to practise independently. I also place a strong emphasis on exam technique, helping students understand how to approach questions, manage their time effectively, and avoid common mistakes.
Lesson Details:
Lessons are typically 1 hour long although this can be adjusted depending on the student's age, goals, and subject.
I offer tutoring for KS2, KS3, GCSE, and A-level students in Maths, Chemistry, and Physics, as well as support with university admissions tests such as the ESAT and PAT.
