I'm all about the text. Unpacking language to find the magic you couldn't see before. You will feel more confident and actually fall in love with the surprises we find in English language and literature. I'm discussion based, and also careful to help find evidence like a detective in the texts we explore. We can unpack topics, themes and stories you love, bringing English to life, and in the process, your English will improve. I'm interested to find out what motivates you and we'll start there. Whatever you're interested in, be it football, travel, food or popular culture - let's start there with an article about it and really dig in to what makes the language effective - the vocabulary, grammar, structure, tone - what will it be? I will also 100% back you or your child for exams. With an MSc Counselling, I'm attuned to the stresses of upcoming examinations, and can walk along, right beside you to make it the least stressful and most enjoyable experience it can be. With me, you'll chase the learning, not the grade (but also get a fantastic grade you can be most proud of!)

Wow! I've just spent 10 weeks with Sally in the lead up to my English Lit A Level and my exam went like a dream! .
