About Maddy
I’m an experienced and passionate Geography teacher, currently an Acting Head of Geography, with 5 years’ experience teaching students from Year 7 through to Year 13. My current platform was on First Tutors where I got 5 consistent 5* reviews. That platform has now closed.
I achieved a 2:1 from the University of Exeter and a Distinction in my PGCE, including an Outstanding teaching placement. I have excellent subject knowledge and extensive experience teaching students of all abilities, from those struggling to build confidence to those aiming for the very highest grades.
I have also been tutoring for 5 years, with excellent reviews from students and parents. My lessons are engaging, supportive and tailored to each student — combining clear explanations, exam technique and plenty of practice to help students understand Geography, enjoy it and achieve their target grade (or better!).
I’m friendly, enthusiastic and genuinely love teaching Geography. I’m based in Wandsworth, have a car and can offer face-to-face or online tuition.
