About Sa
I am a dedicated and professional Mathematics tutor with several years of teaching experience, supported by a strong academic and technical background. I hold an Engineering degree, which has given me a deep understanding of mathematical concepts, logical thinking, and structured problem-solving. Over the years, I have worked with students of different ages and ability levels, helping them build confidence, improve results, and develop a genuine understanding of mathematics. My experience also includes teaching accountancy-related mathematics, where accuracy, clarity, and step-by-step reasoning are essential. My approach to tutoring is student-centred, structured, and focused on building strong understanding and confidence in mathematics. I start by identifying the student’s current level, strengths, and areas that need improvement. Lessons are explained step-by-step, using simple language, real-life examples, and problem-solving techniques to make concepts clear and relatable. I place strong emphasis on logic, accuracy, and exam-focused practice, while encouraging students to ask questions freely. I use a mix of guided examples, practice questions, and interactive discussion during lessons. For exam-level students, I include past paper questions and exam techniques aligned with the UK curriculum (GCSE and A-Level). Homework and revision strategies are provided when needed to reinforce learning outside lessons. Each lesson is 1 hour long and conducted online, making it flexible and convenient. Sessions are well-structured but adapted to the student’s pace and learning style.
