About Sherelle
I am an experienced Computer Science teacher, examiner, and consultant with over 8 years of experience teaching GCSE and A-Level Computer Science. During my career I have worked as a Head of Computer Science and now support schools as a Computer Science consultant, helping teachers and students improve outcomes across multiple schools. I am also an examiner for the OCR exam board, which gives me valuable insight into how exam questions are assessed and what students need to do to achieve top marks.

My tutoring style is supportive, structured, and focused on building confidence. Computer Science can sometimes feel overwhelming, especially when students are learning programming or complex theory topics, so I focus on breaking concepts down into clear, manageable steps. I aim to create a relaxed learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and developing their problem-solving skills.
A typical lesson usually includes a combination of concept explanation, worked examples, and practical application. For programming topics such as Python, students will practise writing and debugging code together with guidance. For theory topics such as algorithms, networks, or data representation, we work through exam-style questions to build strong exam technique.
