About Mandy
I have been always fond of teaching, and Chinese traditional culture, so I chose Teaching Mandarin as a Foreign Language as my undergraduate major. During my 4-year university life, I not only learnt a great many Mandarin teaching theories and methods, but also worked as one-to-one tutor for many international students.
I came to Australia in 2015, and now have been working as a Mandarin teacher for kindergarten and primary school students for almost four years. Also, I taught one-to-one Mandarin lesson for adult learners at night and on weekends.

Learning a language is not just to memorise vocabularies, sentences and do translation from learners' first language to the target language. My teaching philosophy is to use the language no matter in what way it is. I prefer to apply various activities to create as many opportunities as possible for learners to practice and use the language.
