My name is Sarah, I have taught business for 15 years and currently work as a subject-specialist teacher trainer and assistant principal examiner for GCSE business.
Tutoring allows me to share my expert understanding and passion for the subject with pupils that need more tailored support to succeed.

With 15 years of experience teaching business GCSE, A level and BTEC I have developed an informed approach to getting the highest possible outcomes for my pupils.
Tutoring will be bespoke to the needs of the individual, based on their current level of progress and gaps in understanding. My expertise lies in the development of exam skills, as an assistant principal examiner I am able to support students with developing their confidence and ability to succeed in examinations.

Perfect! Friendly, polite, made my daughter at ease straight away and delivered a great introduction lesson.
- Great to meet Abby today! We completed a diagnostic test to identify gaps in her understanding. It is clear she has a strong grasp of the personal finance aspects of the unit but has some significant gaps in understanding around financial documents and their application. If you are happy to proceed with sessions, I will set out a schedule of sessions based on the outcome of her diagnostic test, focusing on developing a deeper understanding of financial concepts, applying these to different contexts and exam skills development to get her closer to her predicted grade of Distinction.Sarah's response :
Perfect! Alfie is really engaged in the lesson and picking up new materials for his exams
- Lovely first session today with Alfie! Hopefully he found this useful. From the diagnostic test it is clear Alfie has a good overall knowledge of key business concepts but is struggling to apply this to exam style questions. Today we looked at 6 -mark exam structure which will help Alfie access higher analysis marks in exam questions. It would be good to see Alfie's mock exam paper in his next online session to identify more specific areas for development around exam skills. Hopefully get to work with you again Alfie!
