Stamatios is a great educator. He is generous with his time and really cares about his students. His teaching style is motivating and shows that he has a lot of experience and confidence in working with students. In addition to a statistics module, Stamatios also helped me with my postgraduate dissertation project. As I was from a social sciences background, he made sure I understood the project/subject in depth, which gave me great confidence (and had an excellent outcome). I can say that I now understand statistics because of Stamatios and I would definitely recommend him to any student who really wants to gain in-depth understanding of mathematics/statistics.

I have known Stamatios since 2013, when he first helped me with my doctoral thesis. I was coming from a social sciences background and had little understanding of statistics. Stamatios made sure that I really understood the foundation before we moved on to more complicated stuff. His teaching style gave me a lot of confidence; he was patient, knowledgeable, generous with his time and really cared about my progress. Importantly, he cared about making me understand in depth the concepts we were working on before putting them to practice. Since then I have worked with Stamatios on different occasions when I needed help with different projects (I am an academic) and I cannot recommend him enough.
