About Justin
I have a wealth of experience as a teacher and tutor with students of all ability levels from grades 6-12 and beyond. This includes undergraduate and graduate students, as well as adult learners who are working toward earning their GED or passing an employment certification exam. I tutor a wide variety of standardized admissions and licensing exams, such as the ACT, SAT, GRE, GMAT, SSAT, ISEE, Regents, GED, Accuplacer, ASVAB, and Praxis. To help my students achieve their goals, I draw upon four years of experience in the classroom as a full-time certified high school mathematics teacher along with twelve years of successful private tutoring with hundreds of students.

I believe that my three biggest strengths as a teacher are the following:

3. My teaching philosophy which emphasizes helping students to develop an intuitive understanding of the concepts that they are studying rather than the memorization-based learning experience that students are most commonly familiar with.
