About Lorna
I am a PGCE qualified French and German teacher with a degree in French from University College London and a Masters in English and Childhood Development and Learning from the Open University.
I think languages open pathways to future success not only as a way to communicate with the wider world but as a way of truly experiencing other cultures. In a world where minds may be becoming more focused internally, it is important to teach and to train ourselves how big the world is out there and how much we still have to learn from it.

Lorna is a great teacher. She was recommended to me through a colleague and I had 1-to-1 sessions over a period of several months.
She started off by assessing my existing level of French, and then put together a learning plan suited to my needs. This included exercises I could do in my own time, which we would then revise in our next session.
She is very kind and patient - I would highly recommend her to anyone looking to improve their French skills. Bon courage!View more recommendations
