About Omri
Hi, I've just graduated from the University of Leeds with a first class degree in Physics. I specialised in quantum physics and astrophysics. I am an experienced and empathetic tutor in Maths and Physics.
I was president of the astronomy society in my last year at Leeds, where I organised talks from astrophysicists and held regular observation sessions. I helped with outreach, explaining how telescopes worked and teaching the use of them to the other members. I have also worked at the Mullard Space Science Laboratory as a summer researcher, investigating solar wind and geomagnetic storms. I love the fields of astronomy and astrophysics in particular because it inspires wonder in everyone, and it demystifies the cosmos.

In my lessons I can help with problems that tutees are struggling with in class, helping bolster and support their learning. I can also work above and beyond the syllabus, helping students to gain a deeper understanding of the subject and the concepts involved.
I achieved A*s in my Maths, Physics and Further Maths A-levels, as well as an A in Economics and Fine Art, and I am very used to helping out with homework, as I have three younger siblings. I have two years experience as a tutor alongside my university studies, working with Stem Student Solutions, mainly remotely. I have had success stories such as raising a predicted D grade in Physics GCSE to an A, among many others. I am very familiar with the Physics GCSE and A-Level curriculums.
