Wayne took me through the preliminary stages of APS-MCC and whilst focusing on the course structure, he implemented real-world applications into his teaching methods.

I had the privilege of having Wayne as my flight instructor at CAE Oxford Aviation Academy, and many of the lessons he taught me have stayed with me throughout my entire flying career.

Wayne was far more than simply an instructor teaching you how to pass a course or operate an aircraft. He taught discipline, professionalism, sound judgement, airmanship and, most importantly, how to think as a pilot. He had a remarkable ability to explain things clearly, build confidence while still maintaining high standards, and turn mistakes into valuable learning experiences.

Looking back now, having progressed through my career and become an airline Captain, I can genuinely say that many of the foundations Wayne gave me during those early stages of training have contributed to the pilot and Captain I am today. The principles and habits he instilled in me have remained relevant many years later.

I will always be grateful for the time, patience and knowledge he invested in me. I would recommend Wayne without hesitation to any student looking for an experienced, professional and genuinely dedicated flight instructor. He is one of those instructors whose influence stays with you long after the training is over.

I look back on my PPL training with complete fondness, and a huge part of that is because of him. I still hear Waynes voice with his words of wisdom in my head 20 years on and it has never let me down.
