About Wan
My academic journey, anchored by a Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) result of 11As and an almost perfect 3.95 CGPA in Foundation of Physical Sciences at University Malaya, I don’t want to be the kind of educator who just stands at the front of the room, reads from a textbook, and expects students to magically understand. I want to be a bridge for them. Because I am a younger teacher, I genuinely get what secondary students are going through today their academic stress, modern distractions, and the deep anxiety of falling behind. I teach to prove to these students “this subject isn’t impossible, you just haven’t been shown the right way to look at it yet and I am right here to help you cross the finish line.”

Additional Math and Physics are subjects where students easily get left behind if the foundation is weak. To combat this, my teaching style is strictly structured around real-time diagnostic learning:
I introduce complex topics or subtopics by breaking them down into clear, manageable concepts. Before moving forward, I administer immediate, simple quizzes and exercises. This allows me to instantly gauge the student’s exact level of understanding and pinpoint gaps before they turn into bad habits. Based on the quiz results, I immediately pivot my lesson pace either reinforcing the foundation or advancing to higher-order application questions.
Being a younger educator allows me to build rapid rapport and reduce exam anxiety, while this structured methodology ensures that every session yields measurable progress.
