About Manoela

Hi, my name is Manoela and I was born and raised in Brazil. Since I was 4 years old, I've been exposed to English and I never stopped studying the language. In 2016 I decided to do an exchange program to improve my English. Before moving to the United States, I noticed that I needed to practice speaking more with natives, but it was very hard to find someone who could help with my expectations. Now I decided to help people to improve English and learn more and more every class because I understand how hard can be. I'm here to make it easier and fun to learn or improve the English as second language.

About the lesson

Hi! As an International student I understand the struggle to find someone who really knows English to practice the language. That's why I developed a different method of class. The first meeting we will discuss your goals and expectations. After that, week by week we will develop your vocabulary, reading, listening, writing based on your purpose. I can't wait to start this learning journey with you!

Manoela is one of the hardest working individuals I know. She is very diligent and patient with everyone she teaches. I especially appreciate the fact that she takes additional time out of her day to make sure the students truly understand the material. Every time I see her she has a smile on her face and a positive attitude. I would highly recommend her to anyone who is looking to learn english. I can proudly say that the lessons she has taught me will help me throughout the rest of my life. This world needs more teachers like Manoela!
