About Yanna
Hi! I'm Yanna, and I'm a native Chinese speaker with a passion for helping others learn Mandarin. I recently graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics and a minor in Marketing in the United States, giving me experience communicating in both Chinese and English.
As someone who has studied and lived in different countries, I understand the challenges of learning a new language. That's why I strive to create a friendly, patient, and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and practicing their speaking skills.

Hi! My name is Yanna, and I'm excited to help you learn Chinese in a supportive and enjoyable environment.
My teaching approach is student-centered, interactive, and tailored to each learner's goals. I believe that building confidence is the key to learning a new language, so I encourage students to speak from the very beginning without worrying about making mistakes. Every lesson is customized based on your level, interests, and learning objectives.
A typical lesson includes a quick review of previous material, learning new vocabulary and grammar, pronunciation practice, and plenty of speaking activities. I also incorporate real-life conversations, listening exercises, reading practice, and cultural insights to help students use Chinese naturally in everyday situations. After each lesson, I provide feedback and suggest simple practice activities to reinforce what you've learned.
What sets me apart is my patience, encouragement, and personalized teaching style. I understand that every student learns differently, so I adjust the pace and lesson content to ensure you feel comfortable and continue making progress. My goal is to make learning Chinese both effective and enjoyable.
