About Shivani
I’m a certified yoga instructor with a deep passion for helping others find the same peace, strength, and balance that yoga has brought into my life. After my own transformative journey with yoga, I felt a calling to share this practice with others. Yoga has not only improved my flexibility and physical strength but has also been a cornerstone in managing stress, increasing mindfulness, and cultivating a sense of inner calm. I completed my 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training from Vinyasa Yogshala, Rishikesh where I learned to teach a variety of yoga styles with an emphasis on alignment, breath awareness, and mindful movement. I’m excited to guide students of all levels on their journeys toward greater health, well-being, and self-awareness. Whether you're brand new to yoga or have been practicing for years, I’m here to support you in developing a practice that feels both grounding and empowering. My approach to teaching is rooted in compassion, patience, and creating a safe space where every student feels welcome, supported, and encouraged. I believe that yoga is for everyone, and my goal is to make it accessible and enjoyable for all.

About the lesson

This class is customized for people who want to start their yoga journey. The class is planned such a way that it provide a full body movement. We will focus of the following areas -
1. Mobility and Flexibility
2.Weight Management
3.Anxiety and Stress Management
This class will have the following structure
-Warm up/Surya Namaskar
-Asans (Standing, Bending, Twisting, Sitting)
-Pranayam
-Meditation - Mantra Chanting
There are options to take these online as well as offline. For better adjustment and alignment, I would recommend having first class in person and then if one is comfortable with online for next classes.
For students over age of 50 modifications will be provided - Chair, Strap or blocks. I am able to provide these for in person classes.
Note -
Please note its recommended that you eat an hour before this class.Any students with pre-existing conditions should mention this to me before hand so that I can make some adjustments to the yoga plan accordingly.
