About Margaret
I enjoy learning about my students and their interests/abilities. Getting to know each student as an individual helps me create lessons tailored to their needs. After the first 1-2 lessons, I provide each student with a detailed written assessment and instructional plan. I also provide a written summary of each lesson, as well as a monthly progress update.

I have six years of experience working with nonprofit organizations, public schools, local colleges, and private tutoring services. I have taught students of all ages from all over the world. My strengths are in teaching reading, writing, pronunciation, and grammar. I have earned a bachelor's degree in International Relations, a master's degree in Health Information Systems, and a second master's degree in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL). I do a thorough assessment of each student's strengths and weaknesses, and tailor the lessons to their specific needs.
