About Maria
I am currently pursuing a postgraduate course in Economic Research at the University of Cambridge. Prior to this degree, I have undertaken a BA in Economics and Politics. Both degrees were math-based, and this has provided me with an excellent quantitative basis, making me able to teach Economics and Maths, up to and including high school level. Moreover, I am fluent in both French and Arabic, I have taught french for a year when I was 18, taking over classes of different ages and tutoring 1-2-1. All of my students have made huge progress when I was teaching them and this has been mirrored by their results at school.

I emphasize on the importance of communicating properly with my students. I am very outgoing and have a very amicable and easy to talk to personality and the most timid children feel comfortable to talk to me and make me understand their difficulties. Besides communicating, I also always strive on being flexible in terms of adapting my teaching style to the needs of each students.
