About Brian

I have a Bachelor's degree from the University of Rotterdam, one of the top schools in this field in The Netherlands. I currently live in New Zealand because I have decided to get a Master's degree in English.

I strongly believe that the best way of learning a language is to immerse yourself in that language and to learn by using it as much as you can. However, if your goal is to meet a required level of eligibility, you will need someone helping you to get through the language skills that may be too complicated to figure out by yourself. Think of certain grammar items or reading techniques.
I can help you with just that! The groups and individuals I have taught over the past 23 years, very much differ in level, age and type of education.
My tutoring classes are interactief so it will not be just receiving on your part! You will have to be involved and be willing to take the extra step in order to make progress.
Lessons usually take one hour in which I can help you with your homework, explain items covered in your regular classes more thoroughly, offer some exam training, etc. There is no level or age limit, you decide what tutoring you need and I will offer a plan of approach with a time frame.
