About Ardyn

Hi! I am an English PhD student who loves teaching almost as much as I love learning. I have been writing since I could pick up a pen. I am also what you call a 'book worm', who you can find cuddled up with a book at the coffee shop when I'm not researching. For those interested, I am researching Victorian newspapers and Black activism, but, during my undergraduate and MA careers, I studied writing and literature from around the globe, ranging from the medieval period to present day. I have been educated in writing composition and analytical reading skills. No matter what you or your child requires, be it reading, studying, writing, proofreading, etc., I am the tutor for you. In addition to accepting a wide-range of ages and education statuses, I have tutored people from various cultural backgrounds, English-speaking levels, and learning speeds. As I have served as a Special Needs Attendant for over five years, I have experience working with neurodivergent children/young adults. Tutoring is a passion of mine, and I offer a positive atmosphere, judgement-free zone, and safe space to help you flourish in your learning journey. Please let me know if you have any questions:)

About the lesson

Hello! I am an English PhD student in London, and I have tutored, lectured, and served in editorial positions, including proofreading. I am able to teach a wide range of ages as I have tutored students under ten and lectured at university. I am flexible on how long the tutoring sessions are, and I approach tutoring by first understanding the needs of my students and what learning style is best suited for them. As I have served as editorial assistant for an English education journal, I am well-versed in diverse teaching methods. I always offer a smile, am very understanding, and love helping people meet their goals and progress in their educational endeavours. Online sessions are preferable, but this is open to change based on the student's needs. Looking forward to meeting you!
