About Parya
I am an English language tutor with an English Language and Literature degree and several years of experience teaching learners of different ages and levels. I have taught children, teenagers, and adults in both institutional and private settings, and I adapt my teaching style to suit each student’s goals and learning pace. I value clarity, patience, and consistency in my lessons, and I aim to create a supportive environment where students feel confident to speak, make mistakes, and improve. I take my work seriously and approach teaching with professionalism, preparation, and genuine care for my students’ progress.

My teaching approach is student-centred and flexible, shaped around each learner’s level, goals, and personality. I focus on communication first, supporting it with clear explanations of grammar and vocabulary taught in context rather than memorisation. A typical lesson includes a short warm-up or review, focused practice through speaking, reading, or listening, guided use of new language, and feedback that builds confidence without interrupting fluency. What sets me apart is my academic background in English Language and Literature, my experience teaching learners of different ages and levels, and my ability to teach with minimal reliance on translation, helping students think directly in English. My lessons are suitable for beginners to advanced learners, including school and university students, adults seeking practical communication skills, and those interested in academic or literature-based English.
